We built our garage out of our own harvested and milled wood.

This gives the best perspective of where the new garage is located on our property. I like to think that it is very 'green'. We harvested all the pine, walnut and oak ourselves. All trees were either naturally fallen trees or trees that were going to be removed due to damage from adjacent structures... there are only a couple of those. 90 percent were knocked down by high winds that include hurricane Ike in 2008 when it went almost directly over our house. |
